Earwax was born when Nudge failed to do so, way back when I started on Asgards. I had planned to switch my name back ... but I never got around to it, and now those in the know still 'nudge' Earwax when they see me. Anyway, in RL most people call me Ian, or sometimes GlenX. At least most polite people do. My main claim to fame is that I am the husband to Kylie (Kaohmie) and father to Jocelyn who as yet is not actively playing on Asgards. I was born in Western Australia back in 1966 and spent far too many years at the University of Western Australia before settling down to a career as a programmer. That lasted about three years before I decided I needed more interaction with humans and I switched to PC and Network support. For the last six years I have been working as a freelance contractor in the email/network arena. While I was at Uni I played a few MUD's, even wizzing on a few, but I hadn't played for years when Kylie got me hooked again on Val. Life just hasn't been the same since. I now live in Queensland, which is just north of Sydney ( just like Quebec is just north of Washington DC) My hobbies include scuba diving, photgraphy, bush-walking and reading. I know they are all rather solitary activities, but I get enough human contact at work these days ... I like Asgards for not being a DIKU mud and (of course) the people.
