Ok, lesse, where do I start? I'm 27 years old, and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I work for a small software company here that creates software for insurance companies. I'm one of the senior developers there, and have been with them for 6 years now. Sounds likes bags of fun, I know, but it's pretty good. I like the company and my co-workers, and we get to use some pretty bleeding-edge technology for creating our software. The name Kasmir was originally a creation of my own twisted mind, but now that it's been pointed out to me, I can see that since I was playing Magic: The Gathering a lot at the time, it was probably my subconcious getting it from the Legends card Kasimir The Lone Wolf. Since then I've added the last name 'Gandalf' which of course comes from Lord of the Rings. Enough about me, next question was what do I like about the MUD? Well...first off, I love the people and the atmosphere they create. Everyone is usually happy and somewhat sarcastic, gives a nice contrast to everyday life where people are unhappy and pessimistic :P Since I'm a wizard, I enjoy creating the wonderful places that I used to love to explore. (Tho lately I've been playing a lot more than coding.) But, regardless of how well coded a MUD is, I still believe that it's the people that play on it that make it great. It is what made Valhalla great, and it is what makes Asgards Honor great now. Many thanks to one and all for making the slaughter of hapless bunny rabbits so danged much fun. ;) |
